Slide Centre
All speakers are invited to deliver their presentation to the Slide Centre onsite at least one hour before their session.

Oral Presentations
All presentations must be in English. The time allotted for your presentation is 10 minutes, followed by a 5 minute discussion.

Poster Sessions
Poster exhibition will take place throughout the congress period. Material for handling is provided by the secretariat onsite. All posters should be taken off on September 2nd by 17:00. After that time they will be destroyed.
Poster Sessions are scheduled:

  • September 1st from 14:00 to 15:00
  • September 2nd from 13:00 to 14:00

Authors will be available by their posters for discussion.

Publication
Accepted abstracts are available to all participants with the Shock Supplement.

New Investigator Award
Competition open to pre-doctoral students (MD, PhD, D.V.M., DO and DDS) and post-doctoral trainees.
Five finalists have been selected by the Awards Committee of the European Shock Society. Finalists will present their work in a ten-minute presentation followed by a five minute discussion on Thursday, September 1st. Each of the five finalists will be recognized with a plaque, a cash award only for the first place, Euro 1.000,00.

Travel Awards
Travel grants (42 travel awards) of Euro 400,00 (each) have been provided to additional investigators based on scientific merit. Travel Awards have been assigned by the Scientific Committee.

Poster Awards
The European Shock Society has also decided to provide 4 awards (Euro 250,00 each) for the best 4 posters presented at this meeting. The posters have been selected by the Scientific Committee.
